Now I'm having a heck of a time trying to get the outer sleeves out of my lower control arms. The manual says to cut them with a chisel. Then I got some instructions in a kit from Mancini racing to weld a washer onto them then press it out. I've tried both. I was wonderin if anyone had some other tricks to get those old sleeves out? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I used a sheet metal bit on my air chisel and slit the sleeve. One slit just roll it into the center and out they come. Took a couple of minutes each.

I would think a sharp cold chisel and a hammer would work as well, just take a little longer.

I'll have to look for an air chisel. It took me quite some time to get these sleeve's out with just a hammer and a cold chisel. I got one out and took the other one to a local machine shop! Thanks for the info.
