? Lower control arm Mods/plate and Binding

74 Duster, Big Bolt pattern, Small block,1 1/8 sway bars front, Firm Upper Tubular A, QA1 adjustable strut rods. Ok that covers that I hope.

How does the plate welded onto the bottom of the Lower Control Arm effect binding at the Torsion Bar Socket end?

About to weld these plates on looks like it would take some of the adjustability out of that end.
If you Adjust the strut rod is the location of some of the movement at the control/torsion socket end?

Adjusting the strut rod will move that arm relative to the LCA pin by way of the bushing. All the stiffening plates do is help limit twist in the arm. I also believe that it is a good idea to remove as much slop between the arm and the T-bar socket.

Ok that makes sense adjustment moves LCA by taking out the slop and putting it on the replaceable wear item so LCA stays good.
I remember watching that!! Been awhile so will do my homework and watch video so I can get them welded/painted and back on.
