The car is a 1970 Dart with stock front suspension.

I loosened the nut on the lower control arm until it touches the pin that goes through the threads.

Can i loosen it any more than this?

Are you saying untill you couldn't see threads showing on top? Is the car loaded sitting on the ground? I have seen them with the adjuster finger sitting on the plate/swivel/nut. Probably shouldn't do that.

What size/diameter of tires do you have? At some point you will have to shave or take out the rubber bump stop on the lower control arm. Do you have stiffer than stock torsion bars?

my tires are 22.5" diameter & 4.5 inch wide mounted on a 15" x 3.5" rim.

i have slant six bars with a 440 engine

the car is sitting on the ground

Sounds like you are running 165/60/15's? That should lower the front without running the adjuster screw too much.

Just be carefull you don't go too low. You will bottom out the lower control arm to the frame. With the 440 and /6 T-bars it will be easy to bottom out on the street.

Sounds like a drag car. Does you oil pan sit lower than your k-member?

FWIW, the top of my front wheel lip arches are 24.75" from the ground and the lowest part of my k-member is 5.5" from the ground.

Thanks autoxcuda
Its an 11 second drag car that i drive on the street, i think i'll just get a front spoiler to increase the aerodynamics. Im getting the front wheels aligned soon & was wondering if its already as low as it can get.

the oil pan sits above the k- member
i think the lowest point of my k-member to the ground is like 4 inches

Do you get lots of header scrap on the street? That seems like a setup you really need to be carefull driving with.

My tires are 25.5 diameter which is 1.5" more radius than yours. Your frame is 1" lower than mine. So your lower control arm bumpstop to frame has a little more distance than mine. You should watch for smashed bumpstops.
