LU converter question

Do these Lock up converters have different stalls? I have a 727 with a 2300 stall converter but going to a 518 but this has a lock up that I have to wire for. Do all manufactures make these converters?

I think converter choice for a 518 is somewhat limited.......at least it was when I was tossing around what trans to put in my car....
