I want to take the master cylinder from my 92 Dakota and put it on my 73 Dart. My Dart is a front disc power brake car and the stock master cylinder is leaking. If I change to the master cylinder off of my dakota (lightweight aluminum 2 bolts) I know I will need to get the adapter (unless the dakota booster is a bold on which i doubt). But now my question is do i HAVE to change to a manual brake setup or will that adapter just bolt directly to my 73 brake booster?

If indeed i do have to change to manual, some people are claiming that the stock pushrod will work for power brakes and some people disagree, any clearance to this?

you could just use the adapter to the old booster... I don't think the other one will work.
