I own an M-code GTS that I do not have a build sheet for and I have 2 questions (for now). I’ve always read that the M-code used the 093 Roadrunner/Superbee 727 transmission but the original build sheets that I have found online have 091 in the transmission box. The second thing is that they are supposed to have a 4618 AVS but the build sheets show 95. What am i misinterpreting? I’m assuming 95 is the last 2 of the Mopar part number.

No help to you but I think my 67 Dart GT (2-8-67 build)

Was built on the same line as the build sheet car you show.

I can’t read your build sheet too well but I agree with you that the transmission should be a 093 and the carb should be a 4618. I’m wondering if the transmission is a holdover from the fact that the cars were coded as E63 on the fender tag (383HP) for the motor. Check your fender tag. My car was coded with D32 for the transmission.

As far as your carburetor. I can’t find any Carter 4-barrel carb that ends in 95.

Perhaps @davescuda has more information on this. I have a feeling that he’s seen multiple build sheets on these M-code cars.

In the 69 CUDA M code registry there is build sheets with Transmissions 091 on build sheets but car came with 093 or they did have original trans in them. Also seen different carb numbers. Only number is confirmed as originals are the 4618. All these mistakes are on all early production cars.

I figured that every car got the 093’s since the transmissions were already mounted to the engines prior to being installed in the cars.

It makes sense that the M-codes would have the most HD automatic available installed, I’m wondering where the upgrade was recognized by the assembly line workers. I always thought that the build sheet was the end all/be all but apparently not.
