Magnum/A-518 Swap- Speedometer?

Evening, All-

I'm looking at swapping a 5.9 and an A-518 into my '67 Dart. I've read a few pages of the threads here, and haven't found an answer regarding how to get a speedo to work with this swap. I believe I read in one thread that the Trans doesn't have a speedo signal- the signal comes from the rear- so there's no way to get a speedo to work. Is that correct?

It depends, if you use a 46 rh the speedo gear is the same as the 727 904 setup. If you use a 46 re, then you're right, the speedo is an issue. You'll either have to use an electric speedo, or a GPS speedo. I'm sure there is a way to convert that signal to a mechanical original speedo, I've just never looked.
