Magnum Head part numbers

I trust the collective experts here can help me on this question...
I have a 360 Magnum and pulled a valve cover to find the casting number. I could not find 7 numbers or "P" followed by 7 numbers anywhere. I did see 9970 on #1 intake runner then 5302 on #3 int. runner, I don't think these are any good, maybe lot numbers or such. Are they only "underneath" the head casting on the runner? Or am I missing them on the outside somewhere? Thanks for any help. Jeff

The P number is the catalog number for the performance catalog.Mopar has changer the part number in supercession several times.The part number you want is the last four of the casting number on the intake runner. If I remember right,mine was 6671.A great breakdown on casting numbers is at.www.bigblockranger.com.
