I have assembled and closed up the bottom end on my 360 build. Now am focusing on the heads and intake.

I did not drill and tap the LA block to head oil holes for plugs and am wondering about plugging them somehow.

I can't use anything that will cut now....yeah, I know...plan ahead.

Is it even a concern?

Thanks!

No need to plug anything. The magnum head will block off the oil hole and feed oil to the head through the lifters and the pushrods.

I just put a dab of rtv sealant in the hole before installing the head.

I used no sealant or plugs in the oiling holes on my 77 360 with magnum heads. I have over 700 miles on it so far and I've had no issues.

Same here just put gasket and heads on, 3500 miles no problems.

I have almost 30,000 miles on my LA/magnum hybred and didn't do anything to plug the holes. No leaks or oil pressure problems. I would say it' not a concern.
