I'm trying to straighten out the screwy wiring on "IT" when a P.O. installed the MSD-6A. On B body cars there is usually a ground strap from the passenger's rear of the motor to the firewall. "IT" doesn't have one.

My question is, is it supposed to have a ground strap from the motor to the firewall? If there is supposed to be one, where does it go? Anyone have a pic if there is?

I'm trying to get this straightened out in time to make a local show this weekend, so any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

My 69 Swinger has a 10ga wire from the pass rear cylinder head to the firewall, but the neg battery cable is also bolted to the front of the drivers cylinder head.
Hope this helps.

My rear one was originally attached to a wiper motor stud on the firewall (S6). With the 440 I ran it to a blower motor stud.
