Well fellers..It looks like I'm going to have to get a shorter air filter element..Don't think it's going to fit under the 5.5 inch cowl scoop on my hood.

I have a drop base on it now..I'll probably just drop down to a 4 inch filter...If I drop it down anymore it'll interfere with the throttle setup I have on it..

The scoop on it now is 5 1/2 inches tall.

They wre $99 when summit first started carrying them , and I didnt pull the trigger .

I have the MP cast covers (currently on iron heads) and I'm constantly fighting leaks at the rear of the heads. Thinking of switching...
How do these Summit covers compare in height? I had to put in a shorter blower motor just to barely clear the right-side cover.

I dont have them , but I think they were 3.25 or 3.5 tall.
Ur lucky , I had to go to a hotrod heater under the dash , my raised port heads are about 3/4'' off the firewall on the pass side .

The valve covers I have work pretty good on my Indy Heads because the valve cover rail on my heads are wide..l used the blue Moroso rubber style valve cover gaskets.

I also removed my heater and blocked the hole off with a block off plate.

Trying to find a spot to mount my tach. Wish I could find a Schumacher Tach BracKit. Schumacher appears to be out of them.

I have one of those... but it's very "springy" with the weight of a 5" tach on it. I think it will be more usable with a strip of dense foam rubber wedged inside the elbow.

No, sorry... even though it bounces a bit, something has to support my tach. And I can't hold it in my right hand because I have a 4-speed, even if I'm not petting the dog
