Map Light Switch

Found a map light switch mounted on the left side at the bottom of the dash of my 72 Demon, can someone please tell me where the map light is? Is it the dome light? Another light somewhere? Thanks

They can be placed severa spots under the dash I thin the is actually three locations on some metal frames . Mine on my 71 is on the passenger side under the dash. It takes a special harnees that controls it from the domelight or the switch.
