I need a push rod to fit 1974 Duster manual brake master cylinder. Hopefully for a better price than new.

If you dont buy Kid's, go to Mancini Racing.
They have an adjustable push rod kit. Good stuf.

Also, the 10" brake pushrod is different from the 9" pushrod. If you have a six, you may have 9" drum brakes.
The 9" pushrod will not synch up to the 10"master cylinder. Do not use the pushrod if it does not lock into the master cylinder, it is WRONG and your brakes will fail.

It’s an original v8 car. How long should the pushrod be?

You will have to find a junked car for reference. Mine is installed, can't measure it for you.
Some master cylinder manufacturers sell them with pushrods.
