McLeod 5 speed

Hey all, I've been shopping around for OD or 5 speed options for my 67 cuda, 318 with limited mods. I found this link and was wondering if anyone had some opinions. The site says they will have Mopar options by Spring '16. Looks promising...

Look's like it will be a pretty nice piece, kind of interested in that myself, and it's priced pretty good too!

500 ft/lb/tq isn't much... Passon at 700. Waiting for my Passon to put behind my Gary Stanton 572

Ya, seems like they would have gone for a higher torque rating than 500. There are guys putting serious torque through the Passon trannys he did get out. Too bad production is halted. The McLeod will probably fill the bill for a lot of builds.

Passion is over $4k when you can get one. McLeod should be $2700 when finally released. I contacted McLeod about the Mopar box and they said it should be a drop in other than needing a TH400 output spline yoke and to fabricate a rear cross member.

McLeod has ben saying next spring for like 5 years now. don't hold your breath.
