Mechanics looking for work??

Anybody in the Phoenix area in particular? The USPS is hiring mechanics to work in the Motor Vehicle Services.....If any one is interested PM me.....

Nobody looking for work? $18@hour to start, plus benefits. Health/life insurance, sick & annual leave.....and while it is the Post Office MVS is not part of the retail/delivery crap....

There aren't many good mechanics in this area that will work for $18.00 an hour. Even our local city mechanics start well over that with great benifits. I agree that it is a great job but when you are young, you think about todays 40% of the $90 to $105 shop hour commissions but no benifits. All the good shops here are always busy. When you get older you realize that $18.00 an hour was a heck of a good deal because of the benifits.

Top rate will be over $30 an hour. You would also already be in the maint. craft, so stepping in to an ET job is just an exam away. And as an ET transferring to just about any facility is just a matter of a letter.....
