Thanks for the congrats 6pkC! I too think it will be a show winner also, but not really the goal I am aiming for. It's just a benefit to the hard work the shop guys have done working on it. Originally I was going to bring it home after the paint was done but decided I don't have a big enough garage to work in with no heat in the winter and never home during the summer because of work. So I am supplying all the parts I have at the house and having my shop guy finish it off for me.

Yep it is a nice shop 6pkC and way better than the shop he was located at. Glad he moved out and into this one.

Love the white stripes on the butterscotch and the painted steelies with the deep dish rears. Jim's is the
only other butterscotch Demon I know and it has a flat hood with the Sizzler blackout on it (and something
else under it).

Yeah Jim's demon has a elephant and mine will have an ant with a 6 pack.:D

Paid a visit today to drop some more parts off and check on my Demon. Still waiting on my leaf springs and the axle can be put back in and button up most of that stuff. Front caliper's I'm waiting for my brake shoe retainer clips and brake lines for the caliper's and that could get completed. My headliner is in but waiting for quarter glass gaskets which sounds like they are on long term backorder and hopefully we can find some NOS ones somewhere. The sidemarker lights and the gas tank is in as well. It's just has a bunch of little stuff that holds up progress.

Paid a visit yesterday to my buddy's shop to deliver a few more parts and see if anymore progress has been done since the last time I was there. My ESPO leaf springs, axle and shocks were mounted. For some reason there were no shock mounts on the car and one of the previous owners must have different plans for the car. But they found some mounts and welded them in and all is good on that end. My painted steel rims were mounted on the tires and look awesome and can't wait to see them on the car The master cylinder and brake lines were on and fuel lines were there but not installed yet. In the short time I was there they were prepping the roof and getting ready to put the vinyl top on. I myself didn't take any picture's this time but did steal one off of his Facebook page of the vinyl top being installed.

Thanks Mark. The white stripes are different for sure. For the most part I am going by what the fender tag specifies.....minus the power brakes and bumperettes. I even put the rear window "defroster" back in. I know when it's done I will be wanting to show this car allot.

Looks Awesome John!! Sorry to hear about the top. Looking forward to seeing it in person !!

This is an awesome build.
Looks great!

Thanks Dave! I only have a small part in the build itself but usually try and find missing or needed parts like those Kelsey Hayes brake hose brackets I recently purchased from you. Those were a huge plus and thanks again!

Thanks Mitch! Yeah it sucked but that's what happens when the vinyl was cold and was not flexible enough to stretch.
