hope you get it ive had about five of them i love them i have a 66 dart drag car and a 65 dart i have no title for had it to for years but it needs lots of work

Your old place looks like nice cozy country home, but I'm betting it's good you moved. I'll bet the people that will be moving in on the other side of that brick wall would be a pain in the *** to a hot rodder.

I'm guessing the people looking at your property want to turn it into a mini-mall if it is zoned right. There's probably alot of money to be made from the people in the new development and the gate appears to be almost right in front of your property. Don't let it go too cheap or too fast. There might be a very good penny to be made if you sit on it for a bit longer.

I sure hope this all works out for you Mike. I was on here a couple days ago and saw your post. That will make a very nice car for you, an original 273 in her to boot, sweet.

I had to refile in order to post, I forgot my password LOL, I had checked in a few times but had not been posting so I guess I got put on "probation". LOL

I am the first and only to look at it in person that I know of so if someone has the cash he will not go running to this clean Dart. If this car was exposed and Poto'ed good and the man would have mentioned the lack of rust right,
It would be gone.
I am saving! And keeping my finger's crossed.:clock:
 
Yes I did and he need's 3.500 to get the title out of the business account
at the bank. He said that he would not be listing it again for a wail and
that know one has showed up to look at the car but me.
I offered 1.000 to hold the car till September and he did not want too.
this guy live's a long way's from population, And he did a bad job posting the car, Witch work's for me.
 
Good luck on this, memike, you are a true enthusiast, and that car is for you, all of our thoughts and prayers are with you. You'll find a way, and , a couple of months passes by so fast, you'll be there in no time. How about listing your extra parts on here and setting up a memike needs a 66 dart fund? We might be able to help you to get this car faster than you think. PM Adam R and what do y'all think? There's lotsa guys here willing to help I'll bet, including myself. If we could get 125 guys to contribute $20, plus your $1000 you would be there. Food for thought, guys, he is a good contributer to this site, and a REAL a body enthusiast.:poke:
 
Dartnut you might be on to something. I would more than gladly send 20 bucks for Memike's dart. How many others are willing to do the same? I bet there are more than we think. And your right about where Memike's heart is. You can see it in all of his posts. I think we need Memike's address so we can get the money rolling in:) 788 views.......hhhmmmm that would be more than enough!!!!!796 and counting...

Reading your saga on the `66 Dart was interesting. WAY back when I was shopping for a Barracuda I would find a good lead...get there...and be disappointed. This happened a few times where I thought I found what I wanted, and it didn't happen for one reason or another. Like the old saying goes; All things come to those who wait.

Save & shop... Save & shop.... You'll find one! 8)

Does Memike have a paypal account? I'm sure most people would rather put some gas in their car, but having the option open doesn't hurt.
 
I'm with you 65S, My buddy just came by today and dropped off the 20$ he borrowed two weeks ago and it's just sitting here waiting to go in Memike's account. First thing I thought about when he handed me the 20 was there's the 20 for Memike........I had completely forgotten about it.

O.K., memike, just throwing out some ideas to everyone, I'm proud too and I help others out when I can, just like others help me when I need it. You'll get your car when it is time, and even if it's not this one, the next one will be better, good things really do come to those who wait.:toothy7:
 
Very well, I know where your coming from. I respect the fact that you want to do it on your own terms. I can tell you from past experiences that anytime I ever had to borrow money from friends or relatives it sure made me feel like crap. Good luck with the purchase. If it was meant to happen it will, one way or another.
