Wow, what a voice! Thanks so much for sharing that Mike. Nice to music to wake up to.

That family reunion must have great!

Wow Mike, Nella and I just listened to your Moms beautiful voice and it really brings a warm feeling to our hearts to hear her. Your pictures also give us a great insight to your history and what made you the person you are today. It's not often you get to enjoy someones life through a journey like this, and we are very proud to know that you have been able to enjoy life with such a rich heritage. Your Mom's voice is so beautiful, you should be very proud, and I know you are. Thanks for sharing her with us!! Have a great day from your friends Geof and Nella!!

Beautiful lady with a beautiful voice!!
Thank you SCredneck, I had to keep my eye on all the men that go ta bothering her sometimes in the fields and orchards :happy10: as you can imagine

What a pure voice, and she knew how to "sell" the song to the listener. Your Mom took me on an emotional journey in just two minutes. Thank you for letting us experience a type of music we rarely hear anymore. :angel5: I bet she was the kind of lady who always tried to make a contribution in whatever setting she was in.
I sure can relate the sell and a great story teller and she was very smart and could read people like a book. She new how to make paper air plains for us as children that could fly like a circling jet :happy10: I will never forget these days, but why is it I can't remember what I did yesterday :toothy10:

that was very pretty, I'm too sappy for this. :p
strange how she's living through you and touching us now, singing a song to strangers about the very thing (well kinda).

thanks mike
I hear ya 1969dodgedartgt, Thank you :happy10: Living though me :happy10: Yes!! wow!! Thank you for your thoughts and I am so glad you enjoyed that music from back in about 1963 :happy10:

My grandmother and I was the best team out in the apple orchards
I was slinging 14" wooden ladders and she had the fast hand bottoming out the lower limbs full of apples :happy10: Not a pair of men in the orchard could keep up with us by the time I was 13 :happy10: Thank you Geof, I am glad I could return a warm feeling with the help of mom. :happy10:

WOW! Just beautiful, reminds me of my childhood and my Mom doing her daily chores and singing while she worked. My favorite was "Amazing Grace" She has been gone for 17 years and I still can hear her beautiful voice. As the late Bob Hope used to say " Thanks for the Memories "

Memike, in case I have failed to tell you before now, You Da Man!

Also, fellow FABOites, avoid that damned Roundup like the plague. It is very efficiently absorbed through the skin and it causes atrophy of the brain stem. Not a nice way to go. Monsanto has been denying it for years, but one of these days it will become public knowledge.

There is always another way to remove weeds that won't kill you, such as a tractor-mounted disc.

Here ya go Mike.

yes, I agree she was a beautiful Lady with a great soothing voice. I know they would be proud of you because they raised you to become a true gentleman. I always admire how you comment and never have seen you badmouth other people. That is the gentleman showing. Be proud of where you came from and never never forget it. I was raised on a dairy farm myself and milked 48 cows before going to high school and then milked them again as soon as I got home. My Dad was away doing construction work and I was left top run the farm. When I came back from Vietnam I went to work for railroad and he saw I wasn't going to milk cows the rest of my life so he got out of dairying. When he got killed at age 51 I bought the farm and still live on it. My avatar picture of my cars is taken in my front yard. Hope to meet you someday in person, Joe
