Arch Enemy is great! One of my favorites. Fleshgod Apocalypse is my favorite metal band at the moment.

Remember when COC used to be punk? Although I do really like the songs that were posted.
DRI was one of my faves. Moved to FL, and met the drummer and sound guy the first week LOL! (and I DON"T LOL very much)

I bought the Evile album "Five Serpent's Teeth" (post 82 of this thread) yesterday. I was frickn rocking going to work this morning. The subs were lit up! lol

The album is $5 on iTunes and it's their latest album. I couldn't understand that but that's how much it cost. Ten songs for $5 isn't bad.
 
I posted this video earlier and at the time I didnt know this band is a Death Metal Christian band! Pretty heavy and evil to be a Christian band....wow!

Slash has a new CD out now with Miles Kennedy singing (from Alter Bridge) that's pretty good...saw Slash live in Vegas about 2 yrs. ago with special guests Joe Perry, Rick Neilsen, Duff McKagan and Matt Sorum, Courtney Love, Cypress Hill and some chick from the Pussycat Dolls (the last 3 I coulda lived without)...I got to meet and shake hands with Vinnie Paul that night, which was waaay cool!

I like a lot of metal, everything from 80's hair metal (most of it; not all) to a good bit of the harder stuff..everything on my MP3 from Crue, Ratt, AC/DC to FFDP (who I saw live and are way better live than on CD), Bullet For My Valentine (again, way better live), Apocalyptica, Hatebreed, Lamb Of God, Rammstein, and Volbeat (best new band out there in my book)...but nothing gets more rotation than the mighty Metallica, Pantera, and the awesome and awesomely talented Steel Panther..if you've never seen 'em live you're missing out....a combination of a great heavy metal show and a comedy act all in one!

When I was in the Army as an MP I got to work concert security at shows on Ft. Bliss, TX and in El Paso...got to meet Joan Jett, Beastie Boys and Run-DMC, The Judds,and The Monkees, to name a few...the best was working security as the Westin in downtown El Paso for Robert Plant and some up and coming snot nosed band not too many people had heard of called Nirvana...they were jerks, but when Plant came back to the hotel, his people asked us to close the hotel bar for him and his group, which we did...he then asked us to sit at the bar with him and have a drink...very cool experience, and a very cool man.

And here they are live in Vegas at House Of Blues at Mandalay Bay, where they play almost every Saturday (20 bucks...well worth it)..with Sebastian Bach....video is almost 30 mins. long, but this gives you an idea of what their show is like (stand in the back if you have your wife/girlfriend; they hit on everything in the building..LOL
