Metallic Brake Pads Swap

I was wondering if switching to metallic brake pads on the front of my 1973 Scamp is going to pose a problem for me. I am concerned with the proportioning ratio because of metallic vs. organic pads. As well the reason I am curious about doing this is, do the metallic pads offer less rolling friction on my car.
