Looking at the Holiday Inn in Lake Elmo or Residence Inn in Woodbury.
Pictures online appear that the Holiday Inn parking lot is quite large, good for trailer parking.
Can't tell about Residence Inn, but didn't look too promising.
Anybody from up that way have any opinions on the parking between the two?

Can't you pull that boat behind the Barracuda, in case you need more beer room?

We are staying at Holiday inn, parking looked good from what I can tell. The place we’ve stayed the last couple years definitely didn’t have the amount of parking, and we all got our trailers in there.

If Im looking at the correct Hotels. The Holiday Inn is connected to the Machine Shed Restaurant and shares the same parking lot. That restaurant can get pretty busy with limited parking. However I used to meet my ex wife to exchange my daughter in that parking lot and there happened to be a lot of open spots. With that being said, Im not sure you will fit more than 3-4 combos in that lot. Just my guess.

The Residences Inn is brand new and in a very busy shopping area. I honestly dont have a clue how much parking is near that. It might be best to call them and mention you will have a truck trailer combo and do they have room for parking.
 
Looking at Google Maps Satellite view in the area. These hotels look to have good parking as well.

Stillwater Hotels (less than 2 miles to the fairground)
AmericInn by Wyndham
Comfort Inn (might be called Lexington Inn & Suites of Stillwater-Minneapolis now)
Asteria Inn & Suites - Stillwater/St Paul

Hudson, WI Hotels (about 10-15 miles from the fairgrounds)
Comfort Suites

Woodbury (about 10 miles to the fair grounds)
Extended Stay America
Holiday Inn Express and Suites (off of Manning Ave)
Holiday Inn Express and Suites (mentioned above)
Hilton Garden
Courtyard by Marriott
Residence Inn by Marriott (mentioned above)
Best Western Regency Plaza (St. Paul East)

Lack of parking happened to me last year too, and it sucked big time.
 
You are correct FishyPete. Based on some of the photo evidence I may have had too much fun. But in my defense my wife left me unsupervised for the entire weekend.
 
Yeah we stayed at comfort inn I believe it was for the last 3 years, there was a restaurant/pub in same parking lot, we just made sure we got there by 12-1pm and got our trailers parked before the restaurant people showed up and we were good to go
 
Room just booked at Holiday Inn Lake Elmo. Coming in Thursday.
Looking forward to seeing all again, and maybe meet some additional FABO members.

Washington County Fairgrounds, in Stillwater MN
Friday May 31, 2019-Sunday June 2, 2019

Kinda bummed it is moving as the Dakota cty grounds are pretty close to my house. Oh well we'll give it a try. I hear it is a pretty nice place out there.
