Mild 383 Cam - Help me choose

Did you find out why the lobe went south? Your builder should be verifying lifter rotation, the spring are correct, and the pushrods and preload are correct during his work. Whomever starts it should not be rotating it much during installation, preoils it properly, ensures it fires immediately, and can run for the entire break in period without having to be shut down.

Get a cam designed for a MOPAR
Comp has some new ones and many old obsolete ones
Here are some minimum specs for a MOPAR
[email protected] 202 @.050 .303 lobe lift
(.454 with 1.5 rocker)
if you see a cam with less than .303 lobe lift but bigger at either .006 or .050 it is most likely a chevy grind
Ultradine Howards Engle also have MOPAR grinds
do not handicap your mopar
