[WANTED] Mild hyd roller cam for magnum

You may want to define "mild".
Some folks on here think anything below .600 lift is mild.
I plan on running a Lunati HR grind that comes out to .513 lift with Magnum 1.6 rockers.

IIRC- the conventionally accepted wisdom is that .520 is about the safe max lift before machining the guides is necessary.

I think there is another grind that comes out to .518, but IMO that might be pushing it, unless you do the guide work.

Contact Oregon Cam Grinders. A search here will provide many positive experiences. Then you can tell them what you want, they'll mix up a magical haunted brew, stir it with your new camshaft, and send the camshaft to you. The power of the hex on that cam will result in increased fuel economy and neck problems.
 
FWIW, did you try and call Comp cams for a regrind.
There a bit closer.
 
I haven't installed my Oregon Cam yet, but the service and turnaround was top notch. They've had enough happy customers here, I'm not going to worry about it.
