When I bought my Cuda there was a big box of parts and stuff in the trunk and I found a couple of Miller tools in it but am not sure exactly what they are for. I tried google'ing the number on them but didn't have any luck finding them. One looks to be a bushing driver and has a Miller #6757 and the other is just a round shaft about 1" dia. by 5" long and is Miller #6312. Does anybody have any idea what these are for?

Thanks, Tracy

fishy .... yahoo is BESTer than google !

I think Miller has a internet site .... in the northern Detroit burbs ...Warren MI I think.

Ok Doc I'll check out Yahoo. Haven't tried yahoo search before but it's worth a shot. I think your right about Miller having a site because I found places selling new Miller tools but the ones I have are older ones. Probably 70's or 80's vintage I'm guessing.

I didn't have any chance to take pictures of them today to post here. Was one of those crazy running in circles days. Should be able to get them tomorrow.

Thanks, Tracy

I will look around and see if I have a Miller Specialty Tools book. The tools might be old enough they aren't listed any more but I'll check. Miller is the company that made specialty tools for Chrysler Corp. I believe they are owned by OTC. toolmanmike

That would be great. No hurry, just when you get a chance. Your right about Miller making specialty tools for Chrysler. I've seen them make mention to them in factory service manuals before. I bought the car from the owner of a Chrysler dealership also so these were probably from their tool bin. I have searched through every search engine I could find for them and their seems to be no info I can find on them so that leads me to believe their outdated items. I also found 2 more so the list of them I have is

Miller 6312, 6757, 4664, and 4697.

I've been meaning to take some pix of them and post it here the last 3 days but haven't been able to find the time.

Thanks and have a Merry Christmas.

I have 2 Miller books, 1994-1995, & 2001. 6757 is a Ball Joint Remover, use this tool withC-4212F and 6756 to remove upper & lower ball joints from Dana Model 60 disconnect axles and lower ball joints from 2 W.D. pick-up trucks. NEXT 6312 Gauge- Use this tool with 6311 and a dial caliper or depth gauge to take measurements when selecting the spacer shim used on the intermediate shaft in A-500, A-518, 40RH, 42RH, 42RE, 46RH, and 46RE transmission. 1988 thru currant.. NEXT 4664 does not show up in either book. NEXT 4697 0nly thing that shows is C-4697 and it is an Installer/Remover- Front intermediate shaft bushing remover and installer used on 2.2L and 2.5L engines. Use with C-4171 drive handle.:pirat: Hope that helps! Myron
