Mini Starter nut size?

Can anyone check the positive cable? I already have the starter in with the headers so it's hard for me to really tell. I'm thinking that it is 3/8's but when I get about 1/4 of the way down it hangs up. Is it possible these bolts for the starter are fine thread?

I think you will find these are metric threads on the cable post's unc will not fit,think they are 8 mm

I used 8MM x 1.25 thread on the larger cable post. I still haven't figured out the smaller one. What a pain. Don't force them or you will break the post.

I just measured my small one and it is 4mm. Sorry, it was too dark to measure the pitch. As stated, the large definitely. is 8mm.

We used a 12 mm on the large nut and 5/16 on the small one for ours...

I GOT AN ASSORTMENT AND I FOUND THAT A 5mm fit on the small stud. So I am good to go now. Love metrics. Didn't want to mess up the treads or cause damage to a stud. Thanks guys. It also appears these are not all the same by the above posts. Go figure.
