I was going through some old parts I have in storage and found a set of exhaust manifolds. One clearly has a part number but the other does not. Does anyone know why this manifold has no identifying numbers?

I have seen 1970 castings with the casting number on the back of the manifold and they were barely visible. Take a closer look at the back of the dog leg...

Here you go, I have also seen some manifolds with numbers struck on the edge of the outlet, I ran a grinder where those other numbers were.
One of the Mopar retailers had a buncha offshore manifolds cast and sold, not sure if they would be numbered at all .
Cheers.

None of the 340 TA exhausts had the easy to read raised cast numbers on the drivers side. They don't seem to be any different. Used to be sought out by TA/AAR restorers.

A little derail. Did TA exhaust come without the header type right side exhaust?

The manifolds appear to be identical, except for cast numbers, to 68-70 340 manifolds
