Can I mix kolene steels and none kolene steels and different thickness's steels in the one clutch.

Having trouble getting the correct clearance even though I have a packet of different thickness snap rings
 
Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.Whatever it takes to getrdone. Six of these/half a dozen of those. She aint pretty, she just looks that way.
We used to mixNmatch all the time,when I worked in a tranny shop.
Just dont tighten it up too much. The forward drum can be a bit looser(thats the rear clutch).I like to leave the wavy spring in that clutch, to reduce the shock of engagement from neutral.Makes it a little easier on the U-joints,and such.
