My first car. at 15 ($100)@ 1984- 69 GT dark Green, black vinyl top, 318/904 column shift. Massive rust/rot. Broken tortion mounts and an angle bar in the trunk keeping the springs from punching through. A lot of stories in that short period i owned it. I'm sure there are pictures somewhere. I didnt know what I had.

No matter how ratty, we NEVER forget our first car, do we? Mine was a 64 Savoy ex-Hiway Patrol car, 383 auto with a zillion miles on the clock.

C55 bucket seats were standard for 69 but floor shift was an option

Not on a convertible, which surprised the heck out of me too. Bench seat was standard on the convertible GT.
