Anybody ever mess with vinyl to cover a large area? Like a car roof? Not the "We don't want to waste good paint on the roof" kinda vinyl like the '70s. Modern vinyl. I'm lookin' at a Mini S that has an English flag on the roof, not the Union Jack kind

this kind.
Little car looks like a vertically challenged ambulance. Thinkin' vinyl might be a good way to remedy that.

If I do get the Mini. I didn't want it to be in paint prison for 3 months to cover 25 sq ft of roof. Thank you both. "Wrap" was right on the tips of my fingers it just wouldn't present itself

When you do it, let me know 'casue I got a 93 SC400 that has a terrible roof and rear spoiler. Thinking of just a textured black so I dont have to keep it shiny. The paint on the hood and trunk is prestine, but the top is shot! With those straight lines, youll have to be very careful when you stretch it to match the contour of the top.

An outfit here in town, 5 Star Graffix does dirt track racers. Should the purchase come to pass I'll let them have a go at it.

It's a wrap! ANd if any of it needs fixed it is done in sections and can be printed off as needed.

Are both of those cars wrapped? I'm considering it for my Duster, I like the color it is now but want to do it matte. Just don't have the space to paint it for the next couple years.

Sorry, Haven't been here for a while, Yes, both cars are wrapped, the Dart is a brushed aluminum black and the trim is powder coated satin black.
