Very impressive work, glad someone is making some of that hard to find convertible stuff. I may need some stuff when you are ready to ship.

Hey I’m interested in a glovebox whenever one becomes available. Potentially also speaker kickpanels.

Hey I went to message you but your inbox is full. I’m interested in a glovebox and kickpanels

sorry. went un"gold" for a bit since I haven't been on it in a while driving all over the country getting carpet samples of original 50 and 60's lincolns for my boss. I have the kick panels but the glove box and some convertible pieces are still making me crazy and don't meet my "look" specifications yet. I can make em but they are too ugly to sell (so far).

the corners have some webbing in them and the outer cut is too bad for me to okay it (since I'm the cutter and suck at it there has to be a better way).

The glove box is fantastic!
Great results.
IF (Big IF there) I could reliably cut them out they would be great. so far all my attempts at a good jig has failed miserably. it's starting to piss me off big time since it's such a "simple design " that it should be easy but isn't. I'm having a friend make a die cutter for me in the outlined shape I need and will try that for a consistent cut.

Those look great... much better than the empty hole I have in the dash right now...
When ever you are ready to move those, I am happy to take one.
Keep up the great work. As you can see, there are a bunch of us who need your handy work

I got your set of speaker kick panels you sent me, they look great hope to get them in in the next few weeks. I am interested in a glove box and the small cap pieces you made for the back seat on the convertible. not sure what you call them. I have one that is cracked. Can you give me the price and availability for those pieces
Thanks,
Scott

Thanks Scott. Remember to move the dimmer over a bit to clear the speaker pod. (way up at the top of the carpet near the firewall and heater box you can cut a small piece out to fill in the original hole and blend it in)
the glove box is a work in progress (more going backwards then forwards on such a simple piece, or it should be . But the danged thing has been stupid hard to form, and get cut out correctly without webbing and flaws , oh I can make em but the corners havae a small webbing and it's been a chore getting them okay for me to even think about selling them yet. heck I"ve even had a pro try his hand at it and he was even worse than me! The inner trim pieces for the convertible side panels forabodyonly members are 60.00 per set shipped until they are out (I have 5 sets left) and the next run of them in august they will cost 69.00 since the plastic industry has gone crazy $$$ over the "covid masks plastics" pandemic.

If you get some time could you possibly send me a picture where you relocated the high low dimmer switch
Thanks,
Scott

mine fit perfectly, my wifes car was moved 3 inches inboard and Jim K's beautifully restored 63 was 3 inches over the red one is a members on here that had to move his over that amount also. And yeah, he had to patch the hole in that area on the red set also same as me on the wife's dart (pictures of thiers looks way better than My convertibles do at this time:lol:) since my carpet top and engine are not done yet. busy making parts or trying to at least!

I work with a guy that make lincoln continental custom replacement leather interiors. with the pandemic and factories shutting down I have to "find" carpet and stuff (ACC won't sell more than 1 yard to customers any more which was our main source of carpet.) for us to use. Dorset industries has just started to come back online and we had to do a"pickup" in Georgia and along the way we stopped by some lincoln ranches( salvage yards by normal peoples wording) for some rare parts to remake for sale, we do carpet sets(cut and sewn) replacement (new) heel pads, convertible tops ,leather sets and plastic pieces for those car from 1958 to 1979 and always on the lookout for original pieces to save as a color match with new materials. the Green is the last one we were able to make since no one in this country makes the correct green carpet. that set sold for a cool 1500.00 and the burtex trunk liner is over 1k .

Those look excellent. I’m definitely interested in some kickpanels.

I was always wanting a copy of the later model A's glove box liner. I knew that originally we (63-66) A owners had a molded glove box liner but it was made from paper! that sucks, since I live in Florida where paper and moisture sort of don't mix too well. So here is my latest attempt for a remedy. It's not perfect yet (overheated the plastic and got bubbles in it, miss-located a hole and had little bit of webbing to work with and a ***** of a time getting it off the mold) but hey it FITS and won't fall apart!
old one and a test new one

in this pic you can see the hole I missed on (right upper screw dang it 1/8th off) and the small web on the same side lower corner. but it fits, works and WON'T fall apart in moist weather.

I am happy with it as a good part right now. But I'll continue to fix the webbing issues since I am going in the right direction finally :) instead of just burning up plastic!

I have a 1963 Dodge Dart GT convertible and hardtop both with medium blue iridescent interiors. How do I order the kick panel speakers, glove boxes and rear side panel trim covers for convertibles?

Sorry for the late response to all. I"ve been a bit below the weather for a few months. getting better and going back into the garage to make parts again. I'll post on my progress slow as that may be.
