i have a good running 383 hp engine for sale .i would like 1200.00 for it. its sitting in a 68 charger right now ,so you can hear it run.it comes complete from air cleaner to oil pan,headers to.

And better yet is there a Vin stamped on the right pan rail pad or the right upper trans mount area?

There also may be numbers stamped on the pan rail underside near the starter and underneath the distributor on the deck flat.

Some of us unfortunate are looking for the needle in the haystack so to say! Wish sellers would post more complete info! I know my 69 would have a 68 cast date being it was built in 68. Just knowing the letter preceeding the 383 on the deck pad would help.
