Mopar Crate Motors

Thinking of taking my numbers match engine and store it for safe keeping and get myself a 360 Crate motor. Anyone out there bought one recently and if so, where do you recommend I look for value and service?

I note many more sites now seem to be advertising these with many different HP configurations. Any suggestions or recommendations would be appreciated.

I have a friend who owns a mechanic shop and recently put a crate engine in a 65 dart g/t I am not sure of the hp but he got it from hinckley dodge in utah and the car runs very hard. We were very impressed

I've had my 380 horse crate for 10 yrs.It does nothing but haul Azz.All of them are underrated.All the dyno tests on the 380 showed 405-410 HP.Mine with just an MSD & roller rockers makes close to 440 HP.Dave Smith the dealer in Idaho has the best prices I've seen on em.Give em a call and ask for Joe LeGault.He'll beat anyones price.Tell him Don Rae sent you.
