Mopar distributor w/ MSD 6AL box?

Has anyone run this setup? I'm about to start rebuilding my car tomorrow. And instead of putting my hei back in place, i want to upgrade to an MSD box that has a triggered retard function that i can hook up to some nitrous.

However, little low on cash and read that its possible to use an MSD box with a standard mopar distributor?

Oh yes! Excellent set up! Easy to do. I do it all the time. The MP stuff is left in as back up.

Always,bypass the factory wiring.(Myself).

The 6aL don't have the NOS retard feature, you would need a separate retard box in addition to using it. Look at the Digital 6 instead it's all built in. You can run it with a Mopar dizzy too.
