Mopar electronic distributor

i once found a wire completely off a plug... (the boot was still on)
i don't baby the car and it never even had a miss when driven hard.
i use a mopar performance distributor (Mallory) through the stock 1 ohm ballast which
supplies about 8 .5 volts to the coil.
... all ignition components must be in good condition with good clean connections especially the bulkhead,regardless of what you use.
 
I came here to find some info about our Distributors, got some really good info and ideas too. I just finished installing a GM TBI with the 8 pin module and ECU with a modified Mopar dizzy in my 66 'Cuda.

Thanks to all who helped the OP and many others in this thread. To those who are Pure Mopar, We get it, but don't bash those who try to innovate or experiment.
 
WOW, things sure have changed. not me, I don't downgrade MA MOPAR.
