hello mopar folks i have a 440 motor never been crank, would like to trade it for a 340 motor. can any one tell me were to go on a bodies only. to try to locate this type motor . this new to me thanks fro any help. mike middle burg fl
 
I have two 340's , a 1968 and a 1971 . Both need quite a bit of work . But I really don't need a 440 right now .
 
hello again,help i have a 440, for my 73 scamp,can any one tell me please,where i can find the right set of headers new or used.or can the stock ex.manifold be used in place. thanks for your help.
 
TTI headers are the best for BB A Bodies many run them with no problems. Are you tryin to get rid of the 440 or get headers to put them in your car?

Mike; Did you just change your mind about trading your 440?Maybe I missed a post or two but what 440 do you have and which 340 are you looking for? I have some 340's-what happened?

hello thanks for the quick reply,well i still have the 440 motor. as far as the year goes 68-69 not sure with out looking at the i.d on block. yes i would like to go with a 340 running,with stock exhaust,or headers.have so many problems trying to locate stuff for my car. if u have any thing u can help me with i sure think u.if u like to see what little bit of the motor in my car.u can go on craigslist 73 ply scamp middle fl. once again thanks for any help feel free to answer back with any question.
 
question don't now were to or what to do here so please help ,thanks first i have a 73 ply scamp, a-body k-frame. I have a 440 motor just setting in place, at this time i have only (1) stock exhaust on at this time,by the power break side. the other want go on.do i need to get rid of the power booster, and power steering, in order for this to work,every things seems to work at this point, i used elephant ears, so would that be a problem.all works out ok with them.thanks for all your help hope i have put this on the right post. if not very sorry .i'll try to find some one who can help me thanks folks
