Mopar Salvage Yards

-
What??? Ed put it up for sale?

Yep, it's for real - on the market for $1.8 million - the yard, their house, all the shops and storage buildings. They have a great clientelle and regular business - it would be a great opportunity for somebody relatively young. I have no idea if the staff would want to stay if it sells. I hope somebody picks it up and moves forward with it rather than crushing everything - that would be a real tragedy.

was talking to the blue star performance guy at indy cyl head swap meet in march and he said the 1 up by him is for sale as the kids don't want it. think he said 20 mil. supposedly has 2-3 times as many parts as ams obsolete.

Mopar city in Illinois. Been trying to give them my money for a year but they never call back.
I heard 3-4 months ago that these guys were going out of business, had like 3 weeks from when I heard that to buy what could be, the rest was getting crushed/scrapped. I've been there once, know friends of mine who have been there more often and more recently than me, (only time I was there was 20+ years ago) and all they have done over the past few years is complain about how ridiculously priced they thought Mopar city had become. Maybe something to do with the story I'd heard about them going out of business? I dunno

Yo

You might see if CTC Auto Ranch
has what your looking for. Also Eckert & Son Auto Salvage Stonewall, Texas 78671

Dr. Mopar and Texas Acres are closed.
Eckert and Son are no more. Property worth more than business. Metal crusher called in several years ago.
