Mopar sucks in pro-stock

-
His name eludes me but Dodge ain't won **** since they cut ties with their crew chief last season and attempted to talk to Allen Johnson two years ago at Ennis and he couldn't keep his eyes off my Ol'Lady which left me with the opinion he's a douchebag.

post a picture of your Ol'Lady and let us be the judge also...LOL

Mark Ingersoll if I spelled his last name right...Buddy's kid...

He is now working for Drew Skillman...the guy AJ beat in the 1st round..

Seems like this year in Pro Stock the car that can keep from rattling the tires has the big advantage.HP is pretty even among the top teams with some having a slight advantage.Getting the car down the track is a real trick.Look at Cris Mcgaha..he bought Mike Edwards operation that was top tear and has struggled with it.

Goodyear changed the tire compound over the winter...the new tires are suppose to not need as many burn outs to make them work...they used to take new tires out..and do burn out to scuff them..

and NHRA said none of the old compound which many teams still had would be legal....

*She's very private, hates having her picture taken and would kill me if I posted her pic in here and I Gotta keep the Peace as I've been spending a fortune lately on parts and haven't heard any bitching, keeping it on the DL and catching the mailman and scooting stuff into the mancave helps too.*

Hee Hee Hee!

Not Ingersoll, it was the guy before him and strangely couldn't find his name with google searches. Will ask an old timer at work today as he follows NHRA with a passion and as a Chevrolet guy is always giving me **** about Mopar not winning crap lately in Pro Stock.

Bingo!!!

Pretty sure it was Yates that was crewing when they were getting all those wins. And Gulp.............God forbid he asked for a raise and Johnson told him to pound sand. How's that working out for Dodge now.

yep . its not like they couldn't afford it, he definitely earned it. I can see dodge ending up where ford is if they don't turn it around soon. they might as well rename the class Pro Stock Chevy

Making horsepower is one thing, getting that power to the track is another.
I think AJ has had some turnover in the help department.
This may be the cause for the lackluster performance.

No doubt, Roy Johnson engines make some big power, still need a good clutch/chassis tuner.

Jim Yates was working there went Vince Noblile and Jeggy and AJ were a team...Vince left and went with a Chevy...the money that team was paying for engines was gone and so was Yates...
