Moparfest 2013

They are doing the club parking a little different this year as Giles mentioned no club sticker on your hanger and you won't get into the club section , that and they sent me a letter that I am supposed to show at the gate as well then hand in at registration so make sure you guys get it sorted quick because they have a 10 car minimum for club sections and we don't want to lose our club privilages eh !

Anybody been talking to John -Moparwedden ? I left him a message on his member page and I see he's been on here but no response and he hasn't posted here in this thread either hope all is well for him .

I spoke with John last week and all is wet..oops I mean well LoL.Still haven,t heard back from Pat about Club parking.:wack:
 
Planning on walking the grounds with my daughter this year on Saturday .... Sadly I will not complete my dart this year due to lack of wrench time. Was hoping to come home with a Valiant :)

Hopefully next year since I am very close.

Yes John(Moparwedden) is coming for the weekend.I also met Bill(MtNemoMopar)at a show on saturday and he won,t be making it as he has plans to go to Havloc with Billy J.I also spoke with Pat today(sending me a Club sticker)but also said she had messed up with the club parking tickets and will let the Cadets know to let others(without club parking tickets..FABO members)park in Club parking. : )

well that answers all my questions except what should I bring to drink ? you bought the beer the last 2 years I think it's my turn buddy , how about a case of that yucky bud light with lime stuff haha .
 
Patt got ahold of me and said he mailed out new window tag for me with FABO on it along with paperwork..

SO he is working on it fellows... I emailed him and it was corrected in 2 days

Unfortunately Dad isnt feeling well enough to go to Moparfest, he offered for Lori and I to go, but I would rather spend time bs'ing with him while Im home. I have a pair that include the "Fabo Club" parking, and seeing as we were going to bring dads Cuda, we "pre-registered" so you are entered into the give away car this year. Which I believe is a 69 Valiant. It is an awesome show with an awesome bunch of people!! Here is the link

The tickets are for Saturday and Sunday and include entry for the car.

Patt from Moparfest just called and the tickets I have for sale can be transferred to the purchaser, so you get a chance at winning the giveaway car!

She gave me the inside scoop on 2014 as well and it sounds awesome!
 
well don't leave us hanging here dude , whats the skinny ? it's the 35th anniversary for the show and the 50th of the first barracuda , do they go together ? a Hemi under glass 64 Cuda tribute would be an awesome giveaway car wouldn't it ?

There's a few things we are working on for next year, some of them are locked in. Still working on some others, we'd like to make the show a touch more special to everyone.
But I'm not spillin' the beans, updates are on the Moparfest website regularly, some are teasers.
The participant price is....a beautiful car, with black stripes, it will be present at this year's Moparfest for all to see. The other extra draw prizes are sweet also.
I don't know how much Patt told you Steve, but I knew she would work with you on the pre-registration side. I'm sorry to hear about your pop's also, hopefully things work out for the better and you all can come and spend some time with friends.

Giles, as always Patt was very nice and we had a great conversation! And from what Patt stated is in store for 2014, I will definitely be making an appearance!
