Mopars At Mecum

-
End result -- Many Muscle Car sellers think that their, average, car is worth outrageous dollars. -- Not good for The Hobby.

I love it! How about the yellow swinger 340 for 23,000. A bodies going up too! Slant Duster at Barrett a couple months ago sold for 27,000!

Terrible for the regular working guy in the hobby! :wack:

When you are only worried about a profit/loss sheet this is great news!
But if you are an enthusiast interested in a show/shine this SUCKS!
It's getting further away from a hobby and more towards a business all the time.

I think the prices look like they are coming down, at least in the more normal stuff but even Hemi convertable E bodies are still off their highs. It used to be a nice new car was $25,000 and a nice restored 68 Roadrunner was $50,000. Now a nice new car is $35,000 and the Roadrunner is still $50,000. Of course the economy sucks so bad working people can't afford the cars they need let alone the cars they want.
