Mopars in the Park Lake Elmo/Stillwater Mn. 2020 has been cancelled

I wonder if this show will be held this year, with the COVID 19 virus we are all fighting now. It seems everything else is either, being cancelled or put off until Fall. Anyone know?
 
I hope things are better by then, But stuff all over is getting cancelled here in MN with later dates than the show....many parks, beaches and other things are now closed for the summer in Minneapolis. And even by then, people may still be sick or getting over it so it may be pretty risky

As much as I want the show to happen, Im skeptic as well. I sadly just dont think it will work out in our favor with the way things are going today. Keeping my fingers crossed though. Im looking forward the laughs with all the good people

I just ordered my Orange Shandy kit. If not at MITP may be Carlisle in July.

It would be! Maybe next year for us, this year we are planning a week long road trip, we will also hit the Mopar nationals during that time as well too...I hope things are better by August or we’ll not go, we already have a hotel room booked for the show.

This year is busy with camping trips for us. That would be a fun trip, but I dont think I could get Dana convinced to go out for that.

How many mile road trip are you planning this year?

Not sure really, not as far as the Route 66 one....we’ll head out towards Ohio, then who knows lol...it would be fun to meet some members along the way too.
 
I just got my Orange Shandy mix in today. I still have a few weeks before I have to brew. I have some wheat beer this year to sample. Goes great with a slice of lemon.

Talked to Mopar Joe. May 5 is the cancellation date. They will decide then.
 
We'd love to go and see everyone, but it might be a little too soon for all that's going on in the world.
We still plan on Carlisle. Probably just fly out this year, and leave the car at home. We'll see.

This will be the first time since the late eighties not going. Always a good time to meet old and new friends
 
I hope we can still have our Mopar Max show here at Cedar Falls Motorsports Park on Aug 21-23. You all could come visit us for the weekend.
