moroso crank/alt. pulley

can i run these on my weekend car, i got a deal on brand new moroso crank and alt pulley. trying to free up a few horses. 340 motor . thank brian

Brian you probably need to be more specific on the sizes of them as they make several.

i beleive they are both 5inch they are underdriven pulleys

If I remember correctly, the Moroso alternator pulley slows the alternator down by 50% and the crank pulley by another 20-30%. You will likely have insufficient battery charging at idle and low, cruising rpm's.

The crank pulley will also slow down the water pump, if you still have the OEM version and can line-up the belts, and cause cooling problems.
