This isn't for my dart but for my 01 ram. I'm looking at a set of motive gears for it. The guy installing the gears loves them. What's yall thoughts on them?

I have Motive 3.55's in my diff, no issues at all.

i had a set of 3:73 in my mustang, i beat on them and they held up, a bit noisy though

Some have said they can or do howl, but mine are quiet as a church mouse.

Either the gears are good, or I got lucky setting them up, lol.

The guys that is setting them up said with 4.10s it may have a small noise. He said 4.10s all have some noise.? I really don't know myself. I just know how to make them shiny lol.

I don't remember which way it goes but they are in bed with Richmond. Either Richmond bought Motive or the other way around. If that tells you anything. The first set of new gears I ever set up several yrs ago were Motive and they howled a bit but that was probably due to my inexperience. When I took the 3rd member out to sell it I played with them a little more and got the pattern looking better and the guy that bought them said they were quiet

No gears should be noisey if they are set up properly. If someone tells you they all are noisey, yours will be, and that's not done well enough to be quiet. Motive makes a decent product. As do Richmond, Yukon, and Strange/US Gear.

I think the last set I did were made in Korea but were quiet. Now if they had China stamped on them, I'd send em back. I've had my fill with Shinese made crap.
