Motor Bracket Question

Jegs sells a motor mount adapter kit to put a small block in a 70- 76 A body 6 cylinder car, So if the early A body 64 to 66 K member is slant 6 or V8. Same K member for either, then you would think the Jegs Slant 6 to V8 adapter kit would work in a early K member.
Am i wrong?

64-66 K's are narrower than the 67+ years

The Jegs/ Trans Dapt 4697 kit is for big block engines. I doubt it will work for a small block. It is also for 67 and up which is a bigger/different K Frame.
Trans Dapt to my knowledge does not make a kit for small blocks. I think they would sell if they did.
They could make one mount for 62-66 A Bodies, to install the 340, and 360 LA engines into early A's. Also they could make a set, to mount a small block into 67, and up slant six K frame, but thy don't. I don't know why.
