Motorcraft 2100 blow through

Well I found 2100 in my dads shed and it resembles a 2300, I believe it flows 300cfm, how similar would are the 2100 and 2300 when it comes to blow through mods? Also can i reuse either my kickdown or throttle cable on it?

OK can anyone tell me if a marine 2300 is the same as the ones off a car? I found one for 55 bucks but it looks slightly different. Would it still be usuable for blow through like the car version? Also do I want side hung or center hung?
