Is there a way that you can mount your race bucket seat and harness without a roll cage and still be NHRA legal? Pictures would be helpful. Thanks

A roll bar is needed for anything faster than 11.49.If your car is slower,a stock seat and seatbelt is fine.You will need a roll bar to mount a harness though a race seat.
As said ...you are not required to have a 5 pt harness if you do not have a roll bar in the car...
the shoulder belts are suppose to be mounted to cross bar on roll bar or cage...and seat is suppose to be braced to cross bar...
so..no roll bar ..no cage..no cross bar...
the rule book also say if you are not required to have a 16.1 restraint harness in car, again no roll bar or cage....then the 2 yr rule is not in play....
Our 71 Duster went thru tech..it has bucket seat and 3 inch lap belt (no roll bar or cage) that is expired...I asked the tech guy ..and he said no problem..
