movie car registry???

does anyone here know if there is a way to find out if a particular car was possibly in a movie? the story is or, i should say was, when my brother bought his dart sport, that it had been in a movie. it had a fairly decent looking stripe painted on it and it looked ok i guess. but the owner had insisted that it was a movei car. no big deal i guess, but i was wondering. it might be cool to see the movie, and see the car though. any ideas?

You might be able to find it here in the Internet Car Movie Database. I'm not sure how big the database is or if they only put the main character cars in. Good luck.

They list some pretty obscure references. I did a quick search for 1966 Barracuda and got a lot of shots with the car in the background of a scene.

thanks for the link. i looked on 119, 120, only 5 or 6 cars total. pretty cool though. maybe i will post a scan of the car and someone will recognize it.
