About 2 weeks ago I caught it on a local channel when I was in
Vegas visiting my girlfriend. I have not seen this movie in about
20 years, and surprisingly on a local station it was in its
entirety. I remember when this movie came out in '74
my mother went to school with one of the actors who
played one of the highway patrolmen. I can't remember the
guys name in real life, it was Al something. It was cool when
it kept getting repeated on TV, my mom would always let us
watch it again and every time her friend would be on screen
she would say "There's Albert".
Anyway, has anyone seen this movie available o DVD or VHS
I tried some of the movie websites, and it was not available
on neither, even tried a search and no luck. I was able to
get Vanishing Point on DVD and the Tobey Halicki original
version of "Gone in 60 Seconds". I even found the movie
"The Driver" with Ryan o' Neal , funny it was only available on
VHS, and was more expensive than a DVD.
I taped "Bullitt" off channel 9 in Chicago in 1979 the
picture was so shakey being the original it was hard to
tell what was happening. I watched it about 500 times.
One last flick I think it was called "Rebel on the Road,"
from '78or79, it was with Robert Culp, the main star was
a blonde guy Greg something it slips my mind, anyways
he starts off with a Coronet or GTX flips it and puts the
Hemi in a 39 Willys coupe in primer color. He goes up
against the owners of the local track, and wins the
series. I've got it on tape somewhere, ring any bells? 8)

Dirty Mary,Crazy Larry was a stupid movie!
The best thing about it was the Charger!

The last movie you referred to is called HOT ROD.
The car he wrecked in the beginning was a 65 Plymouth Satellite or Belvedere.
And the Willys was a 41.
It's not the greatest movie ever made but it's not bad.
I have been looking for that movie on DVD for a while now and can't find it.
I recently started collecting car movie DVD's so far i have Christine, the original Gone in 60 Seconds that was made in the 70's,Smokey and the Bandit and i just seen that the local Wal-Mart has American Grafitti.
