looking to use the highes whiplash 340 camshaft in the car.. the 340 cam i have is a factory motpar performance purple shaft cam and lifter kit. all new in box paid 250.00 with shipping for it. anyone interested?
tis cam is discontinued accroding to charts.... do your research and drop me info on how to get a hold of ya if interested.... by the way anyone used hughes 340 whiplash cam in a built 318 yet? results?
 
Hey Josh, it looks like you're soliciting opinions for a Whiplash cam, and trying to sell a MP cam at the same time--might want to put the for sale stuff in the classifieds. Not tryin to be a grinch, but...just sayin.

That being said, the whiplash cams aren't made for high compression-just something to keep in mind. So, when you say "built 318" it conjures thoughts of >10:1 compression and big port heads.
 
I think the 340 cam is a much better choice. You already have it.
