I don't want this to ruin the thread, but I have to agree. Both very great players but Orr did one thing that no other single player in the history of the game did. He changed how the game was played.
My Dad worked for the Howe/Kaline/Carlin company back in 1961. At a company dinner, they
had Al and Gordie there for a meet and greet and to sign/hand out pictures. Gordie, signed his
and wrote a small message to mom and dad. Still have it.
