Mr. Norm's GSS Hemi Dart - #007

-
Definitely keep us posted. Looking forward to meeting and checking that bad boy out in person. I miss my 69 Swinger.

Ever think about coming to the Mopar Nats? You and the #007 Dart would make a great fit in the HDK sponsored tent......just bring plenty of drool wipe off towels.

You should ride out to the Round Rock show this morning! I'm about to head there now.
IH35 to 620 and go left
Go past Puffy Tacos, and its the 2nd or 3rd right , just before the lanes split, go straight 2 blocks untill you run right into it.

still alive hope to dyno end of this month or april....i'm so tired of waiting...

Its like having a mistress you want to get rid of, but you can't do without her also, lol
Best of luck with your project.
Just curious why you didn't go to proven Hemi Guru R. Barton. I can tell you from personal experience the guy can make gold out of bronze....but you see how them Gold prices are going also lol

how true...she is mounted on the dyno now, dyno headers had to be ordered, should be in within a week or so. thanks

engine is done finally, 533 ci, 12:1 cr, 735 hp, 650 ft-lb tqe, dyno tested gonna be installed in he next month..

Shes back at home, absolute beast!!!! still making some adjustments of course during breakin period, but carbs are dialed in, engine is great, no leaks at all. I went ahead and installed evac system as well. Took it for a run to the square in georgetown last night (people go to the little wine clubs, resturants, etc.) with the cutouts open! people were cupping their ears, whooping...just made the block and left....this thing is radical, all that I had hoped for...finally

Jim Van Gordon out of Rancho Cucamonga, CA built the engines for the GSS's, that is the plaque on the orange car. The body and suspension was still built at Blue Moon in Florida. I blew one of them up on the second car built. It was a Stage V Mopar Performance head that sucked a valve seat, a known issue with those heads.

I think Mr. van gordon built engines right.....but the marketing arm found out the true cost of a building a high quality hemi and dropped quality control. great car btw

Jim does build engines right, never had a problem with him or his builds, just junk MP parts...
